Medium: Acrylic on canvas

My first time painting a person using acrylic and my biggest artwork so far. But more than that, this piece became a quiet place of reflection between me and God.

‘Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.’ — Ephesians 6:11

As I painted each detail of the armor, I was reminded that this is not just symbolic—it is essential. The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith… these are not just words we read, but truths we are called to live in daily. There is a real battle, even when we cannot see it.

In the stillness of creating, I felt the weight of that calling—to stand firm, to remain in Him, and to trust that He has already equipped me with everything I need. Not by my strength, but by His.

This painting is a reminder: I am covered. I am strengthened. I am His.
